First Day: Your adventure begins when we meet you at our guest location in the village, where you can securely park your car and pack essentials for the desert. In the late afternoon, about two hours before sunset, your 2-night camel trek in Merzouga will start, taking you deep into the desert dunes.
The 1.5-hour camel ride allows you to witness one of Morocco’s most stunning sunsets. You can also try sandboarding if you’re interested, and during the trek, you’ll pause to take photos and admire the breathtaking landscapes as the sun sets.
Upon arriving at the camp, you’ll be welcomed with mint tea and have time to relax before dinner. After dinner, enjoy traditional Berber drumming by the fire, gaze at the starry sky, and spend the night in a Berber tent.
Second Day: Wake up early to watch the sunrise, followed by breakfast. Then, embark on a 1.5 to 2-hour camel trek deeper into the desert to reach the second camp. Enjoy a Moroccan lunch and mint tea at a small Sahara oasis, with plenty of time to relax in the dunes. After another beautiful sunset, savor a traditional dinner and settle into comfortable beds for the night.
Final Day: Rise early to catch the sunrise and take stunning photos. After a delicious breakfast and a shower at the camp, you’ll camel trek back to the starting point or be transferred directly to the village, marking the end of your unforgettable 2-night Sahara adventure in Merzouga.
