The camel is a teacher in patience. The hour-long trek to the camp at sunset rewires your sense of time.

Arrive in Merzouga and check into your Kasbah hotel on the edge of the dunes to rest. Walk to the edge of the dunes, do nothing, and let the 150-meter-high wall of sand overwhelm your senses.

Mount a camel and let it carry you into the dunes. The cameleer will stop at the top of a high dune, putting you in the perfect spot to quietly watch the magical moment the sun touches the horizon.

Campfire & The Milky Way (篝火晚宴與銀河)

Arrive at your luxury desert camp. Enjoy a slow-cooked lamb tagine by the campfire and listen to traditional Berber drum music. After midnight, as the fire dies down, the endless, light-pollution-free starry sky takes over.

DAY 2 · 05:30

Dawn at the Highest Dune (攀上最高沙丘看日出)

Rise before dawn and climb. At the top of the dune, watch the Sahara transition from black to indigo, then to rose and gold. This is without a doubt the most worthwhile early morning of your life.

October to April is ideal (20–30°C by day, cool nights near 0°C).(10月至4月最宜人，冬夜溫差大需保暖。夏季氣溫可達45°C，活動需集中在清晨與傍晚。)

🚗 Getting There
It’s a 9-hour drive from Marrakech or 8 hours from Fes.(強烈建議參加私人包車，可沿途造訪峽谷與古城，並免去自行長途駕駛的疲勞。)
